Dr. Andrew Donnelly along with Drs. Renee Petzel Gimbar, Matt Gimbar, Andrew Posen, Kirsten Ohler, Lauren Smith, and Colleen Morley were awarded the 2024 ICHP Best Practice Award in recognition of our Emergency Department Migrant Prescription Program that they developed and implemented. The ICHP Best Practice Award recognizes the development of innovative or creative pharmacy practice programs or innovative approaches to existing pharmacy practice challenges in health systems within the State of Illinois.

Drs. Vince Oluwaleke, John Shilka, Joseph Simon, Kay Yamamoto, and Armin Pashaeimofrad and P4 student Bintou Timbine were recipients of ICHP’s Shining Star Award. The ICHP Shining Star Award recognizes ICHP members who have shown increased initiative as an ICHP Champion or committee member over the past year.

 

Rita Edwards was the recipient of ICHP’s Technician of the Year Award. The Technician of the Year Award recognizes and identifies exceptional performance by a certified pharmacy technician within the State of Illinois.
